In-Person Volunteer
Show up, serve, connect.
Help operate mobile showers, assist with laundry, support the clothing trailer, serve meals, lead activities, or simply spend time building community with our guests. There's a place for you and your unique gifts here.
Key Volunteer

A special opportunity for those who love serving with BeHeard and can commit to one volunteer shift a month (about two hours). By serving consistently, you help build deeper relationships, stronger community, and greater impact.
Virtual Volunteer
Serve face-to-face — from anywhere.
Don't live in Tulsa or OKC? No problem! We've created the world's first Virtual Volunteer Vending Machine so you can serve face-to-face with unhoused neighbors through a screen, no matter where you are.
Group / Adopt-a-Day
Bring your crew.
Churches, companies, schools, and friend groups are welcome to serve together. Adopt a day of outreach — help with meals, showers, laundry, community time, and more. We'll tailor the experience to your group.
Before You Arrive
What to Expect
No experience needed
We provide training and staff support at every single shift.
Dress comfortably
Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes.
~2 hour shifts
Most shifts are about two hours, but we're flexible with scheduling.
Staff always present
A BeHeard staff member will guide and support you the entire time.
Service hours available
We can verify and sign off on volunteer hours for school or work.
Age requirement
Volunteers must be 14 years or older to participate.
